Illusion or Reality?

What is real and what is an illusion? To most this would be a very simple answer. Most individuals would rely on science, as they seem to always have the answers and when they don't, they will eventually right?

Then there are some of us that really question what tangible is. Tangible is something we can feel, something we can see. In that case could it be something we create? I mean, if you think about the psychology of it all, we have to create things to make sense of them. So does that make it real or an illusion?

Please excuse me, I'm already getting ahead of myself. When I say tangible, I don't just mean in the same sense as water and earth, but instead recognizable of our own reality. Whether our reality has such a thing as space and stardust, planets, time, deities perhaps? For everyone it's going to be different.

Did I already lose you? I can't blame you if I did. I just can't help, but wonder what's real and what's not.

Now some of us believe in deities. We create deities to help us cope with the reality that one day we will no longer exist as at one point in a given time we didn't exist prior to our life here on this planet. But isn't life and time itself an illusion and in turn deities. We can't prove that deities exist. What's to say we can prove that life and time truly exists?

Perhaps we're all just puppets in this little girl's dollhouse. Would that girl then be the deity where all thinking of even though we perceive her differently? If that's not twisted I don't know what is!

There I go being hypocritical. As a dollhouse was created by humans, the reality of our life was created by humans. Maybe we're nothing more than cattle to some aliens far off in deep space. Perhaps those are the true deities. Or perhaps it's my subconscious wanting to play tricks with me as I don't know what to make of reality versus illusions.

No matter how you look at it, we're always making something up and then trying to find how real it is. But how real is real?

Illusions as we know it are imaginary. They are what we wrongly perceive or interpret. But couldn't that easily make reality and illusion?

There are so many of us that are divided that we may never find the answer. Perhaps there isn't an answer.
